Fun with blend modes.

I absolutely love celebrating Independence Day here in the United States, and it's my favorite holiday next to Thanksgiving. One of the things I enjoy most about the 4th of July holiday is the traditional fireworks show that closes things out.

In the past, I've often photographed the fireworks shows that were put on by the city I was living in, and I'd always come home with hundreds of photos. And then I'd ask myself: "What am I supposed to do with all these fireworks photos?"

You may relate to that, as well. That's why I created this tutorial. I want to give you an easy and creative way to utilize all those fireworks photos using Adobe Photoshop, and I think you're going to really enjoy it.

P.S. If you plan on lighting your own fireworks, please be safe about it. And, more importantly, please remember that MANY of our beloved furry pets, especially dogs and cats, often get terrified by the loud explosions. Have a great time, but also be considerate of those who can't verbalize their anxiety about fireworks.
