👉 What do I need for this course (aka prerequisites)?

It goes without saying that you'll need a valid Adobe Creative Cloud subscription with at least the Lightroom plan. However, this course will cover a bit of Photoshop, so you may want to get the Photography plan, which includes both Lightroom and Photoshop, although it's certainly not required.

👉 How much Adobe Cloud storage space will I need to get the most out of Lightroom Everywhere?

For the purposes of this course, I will be using the Photography Plan WITH 1TB of cloud storage. I recommend that you have at least 1TB of cloud storage available, although I know many people who have even more storage because they enjoy syncing and backing up their entire photo library.

👉 But I only pay for the 20GB Adobe Cloud plan. Does that mean that this course won't work for me?

As much as I hate to say it, this course may not be right for you if you only have 20GB of Adobe Cloud storage. If you think about it, the smallest SD card that most of us would consider buying is 64GB, which is over 300% more storage than the 20GB Adobe Cloud account supports. A big part of what Lightroom Everywhere will teach you is how to manage your photo library in a cloud-based ecosystem, and that requires adequate Adobe Cloud storage. That's not to say that you wouldn't learn a bunch of very cool things about Lightroom, but you'd likely run out of Adobe Cloud storage very quickly, which would make your experience using it subpar, and I don't want that for you.

👉 That makes sense, but I use Lightroom Classic. Would this course still work for me?

This course focuses exclusively on Lightroom and its cloud-based ecosystem, not Lightroom Classic. With that said, a lot of what we cover in the Editing modules will be the same, and I do plan on including a video that shows what happens if you enable cloud syncing in Lightroom Classic. But again, this course will focus on Lightroom, not Lightroom Classic.

👉 What about Lightroom for Windows and Android?

While I expect that almost everything I cover in Lightroom Everywhere will apply to Lightroom for Windows and Android devices, I can't guarantee it because I don't own or use Windows or Android devices. Still, I think those users will still get TONS out of this course.
