Learn How To Unlock the Power of the Sony RX100 V Camera

Even though Sony has released a few new updates to its RX100 line of pocket cameras, its fifth iteration always holds a special place in my heart. The Sony RX100 V (Amazon | B&H) is one of my favorite cameras because of its size, power, and versatility for vlogging. If you’re anything like me, the first thing you do when you get a new camera is to dive into its settings to truly make it your own.

Often times, cameras are shipped from the manufacturer configured with settings that are most applicable to the broadest user base. That’s why the default image type setting is always JPEG. The fact of the matter is that the real power and capabilities of this camera are lying dormant until you dig into its settings to turn them on and customize them to suit your particular taste. In this video, I don’t only share which settings I change, but I also go into why I change them. A lot of these settings are applicable to most other current Sony cameras, so have at it!
